The high profile launch of the Samsung Galaxy A7 also revealed a companion device with an even more powerful quad camera dubbed the Galaxy A9. The Galaxy A7 had its share of the limelight as well with the reveal of its official price for Malaysia at RM1,299.
For your money you are getting Samsung’s first triple camera array phone. The vertically aligned camera array combines a primary 24MP camera, a 5-MP depth sensor and an 8-MP 120-degree ultra wide angle camera which covers the vast majority of photographic use cases needed in a camphone of repute. The front packs a 24-MP selfie camera.
The other hardware integrated into the Galaxy A7 include a 2.2Ghz octacore processor, a 6.0-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, 4GB RAM and a whopping 128GB of expandable storage via a triple card (two SIM + microSD) slot. A 3,300mAh battery offers excellent endurance.
For Malaysia, the Galaxy A7 2018 will come in black, blue and gold at all authorised retailers nationwide for RM1,299.
The pink variant, alas, won’t be making its way here for the immediate future but that doesn’t rule out a later appearance, mind. For more details, visit the Samsung Galaxy A7 official page here and do check out our prior feature on the phone here.
