Let’s face it – getting an appointment at any medical establishment is often a tooth gnashing process. Just booking a time slot involves you calling and arbitrating not with the doctor but with a disinterested receptionist who has to juggle a dozen other things too. A new physiotherapy practice that has just been established in Malaysia dubbed Pau Physiotherapy aims to put paid to that practice and has infused a healthy dose of tech into their practice to make appointments as easy as pressing a button.
Established by two renowned physiotherapists, Pau Physiotherapy allows patients to simply book an appointment via their online website. Patients simply have to login, set an appointment and they’re all set. If a patient has to reschedule, they can, with sufficient advance warning, simply swap their appointment to another date on the calendar. The user interface is bright, fairly easy to navigate and breezy, allowing even neophytes to get about without trouble. Before the appointment, you even get a digital reminder sent via email two days before.
As a test run, we managed to get an appointment booked and sorted in under five minutes, which is a gratifyingly pleasant experience. The best part? You don’t waste time in a waiting room.
Set in the cosmopolitan Desa Sri Hartamas neighbourhood, Pau Physiotherapy includes a full array of rehabilitative equipment including weight, cardio and resistance training equipment in a certified facility capable of accommodating all mobility levels. For the benefit of less mobile patients, they even have a private lift that heads straight into the centre.
Hosting physiotherapist practitioners who have close to a combined two decades of experience in physiotherapy in the UK, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, the centre is capable of offering the full array of treatments that include sports, neuro and cardiac rehabilitation.
