New Samsung Smart School ‘Little Pilot’ video will make you go ‘Aww!’

Samsung isn’t just known for making smartphones and appliances. They’ve been a force for good  and establishing the foundation of the future with their recent contributions towards establishing Smart Schools across Southeast Asia. This latest video dubbed ‘Little Pilot’ shows just how the Samsung Smart Schools work while also tugging at the heartstrings.

The Samsung Smart Schools, which began in 2013 and consist of over 3,200 schools spread across 93 countries, all integrate Samsung tablets along with a series of educational apps that help students to learn more, be inspired and above all, assist students in four critical educational areas – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. All four are the cornerstones to mastering technology in the information age that we live in today.

The video, which shows the expanded learning opportunities a child enjoys with the Samsung Smart School isn’t just heart-warming, it’s a wonderful look at the future of education beyond chalk and blackboards and plain-old books.

It’s a vision of a future with digital whiteboards, smart tablets and the ability to collaborate, learn and interact remotely with educators and fellow students from the other side of the globe and all points in between too. With the Samsung Smart School initiative, every child will have an equal chance to unlock their potential.

We have many potential talents waiting to be discovered and Samsung aims to provide a motivating learning environment for all children. Currently, the Samsung Smart School initiative has supported more than 1 million students around the world, giving children the independence to express their imagination and comprehend STEM better through digital learning. We believe that through the power of technology, STEM education would be more enjoyable and easy to follow, therefore encouraging students to think out of the box and Do What They Can’t,” said Elaine
