New Asus X570ZD laptop sports GTX 1050 graphics for under RM3000

Everyone loves a bargain and Asus has just released an interesting looking laptop that has enough pixel crunching power to run through most games at decent settings without you having to hock house and home. Enter the Asus X570ZD laptop.

The X570ZD weighs about 1.9kg, is about 21.9mm thin and crams within it a 15.6-inch Full HD matte display, an AMD Quad Core R5-2500U 2.0GHz processor paired with 4GB RAM and has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 graphics card. Storage needs are sorted out by a 5400RPM 1TB SATA hard disk; there’s no solid state drive but at this price range it’s something hard to quibble over. Keeping it powered is a 48WHrs 3-cell lithium ion battery though they did not rate how long it lasts under a normal workload at press time.

These specs make it look like a decent entry level workhorse that can tackle a bit of gaming in the bargain too.
