MSI unveils GS65 Stealth Thin, GT75VR Titan and GE Raider RGB gaming notebooks with Intel Coffee Lake-H processors

MSI has taken the wraps off three gaming notebooks that incorporate Intel’s eighth generation Coffee Lake-H processors – the ultra slim GS65 Stealth Thin, the impressively specced GT75VR Titan and the GE63 Raider RGB Edition.

The GS65 Stealth Thin is an interesting offering as it’s one of their slimmest notebooks yet. The GE Raider series notebooks as well as the Titan are refreshed variants from their evergreen product line-ups with Intel’s new Coffee Lake-H processors.

Here’s the score on their specifications, price and availability for the Malaysia market though as of now, only the GS65 Stealth Thin is confirmed to be coming to Malaysia. For more updates swing by https://my.msi.com/

MSI GS65 Stealth Thin

The GS65 Stealth Thin Gaming is MSI’s sexiest gaming rig yet as it’s just 17.7mm thin while weighing 1.8kg. Crammed within this waifishly slim casing is an absurdly huge 15.6-inch Full HD 144Hz 7ms IPS display.

This is on account of the slim 4.9mm bezels that allow MSI to cram a larger display than what the usual chassis size would allow; to wit it has an 82% screen-to-body ratio which is mighty respectable indeed. This is paired with flexible hinges that allow you to lay the notebook absolutely flat in the unlikely event that you need to do so.

Powering the GS65 Stealth Thin is an eighth generation Intel Core i7-8700H processor. 16GB DDR4 RAM upgradable to 32GB, a 512GB NVMe SSD and an 82Whr battery that offers up to eight hours of battery life. Like all MSI notebooks, it also has a SteelSeries RGB keyboard to get your game on.

For Malaysia, MSI is offering two different variants that otherwise have simlar specs bar a different GPU with one variant coming with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX1070 (Max Q) as well as a Killer Wireless-AC 1550 wireless adapter for RM10,699 and the other with an GTX1060 GPU and an Intel 9560 wireless-AC for RM9,699. The notebook is slated to arrive sometime this month.

MSI GE63 Raider RGB Edition

The MSI GE-series Raider gaming notebooks made its first debut at CES and is blinged out the wazoo with a SteelSeries RGB keyboard and a top cover that has 24 separate zones capable of displaying up to 16.8 million colours. While two versions exist – the GE63 and the GE73 Raider RGB, MSI has so far only furnished details for the GE63 Raider RGB that comes in two different subvariants.

In terms of configuration, the two variants of the GE63 Raider RGB both use an Intel Gen i7-8700H processor. The higher end variant comes with a 15.6-inch UHD IPS display and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX1070 while the other comes with a 15.6-inch 1080P 120Hz 3ms panel with a GeForce GTX1060 GPU. There’s no firm details on its price tag or availability for Malaysia just yet.

MSI GT75 Titan

Big, beefy and immensely well specced, MSI’s popular GT75 Titan can be configured into a variety of configurations though they are all centered around the latest Intel Core i9-8950HK processor that can potentially offer up to 70% better performance over its Core i7 equipped predecessor. You can get your choice of a 17.3-inch panel with UHD or 1080p 120Hz resolution, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080, a single GTX1070 or a pair of GTX1070 in SLI configuration. Bar that, there’s no additional details on local price or availability just yet.
