Logitech launches Prodigy series gaming keyboard, mouse and headset

While Logitech is best known for making solid productivity related peripherals, they’re rapidly making a name for themselves on the gaming front and have just launched a series of new gear for their Prodigy series of gaming gear – the G213 Gaming Keyboard, the G403 Prodigy Gaming Mouse and the G231 Prodigy Headset.

The G403 mouse has rubberised grips and 10g worth of swappable weights to improve ergonomics. According to Logitech, the mice are eight times more responsive than conventional mice and have been tweaked to have hair trigger left and right buttons for an instantaneous response. Aficionados will also appreciate the fact they they pack PMW3366 gaming mouse sensors for exceptional accuracy and precision when mousing. The G403 also comes in a wireless variant as well. The wired G403 retails for RM329 while the wireless version retails for RM479.

The G213 gaming keyboard comes with five illumination zones across the face of the keyboard, each with the ability to be tweaked to display any hue from up to a palette of 16.8 million options as you so desire. The keyboard also sports integrated palm rests, adjustable feet and most important of all, are spill resistant so it can shrug off a tipple of Mountain Dew should it happen to drench your G213. The G213 retails for RM349.

The G231 headsets are over-ear cans that come with 40mm neodymium drivers and soft, padded ear cups. To rant at opponents, the G231 has a unidirectional boom mic that can be folded up and down as needed. The headphones retail for RM299.
