Kossan drops the gauntlet with their new Low Derma tech for gloves

The ubiquitous rubber glove has been around for millenia. Little has changed from the day it was invented decades ago to the versions in use today though their usage has become even more widespread than ever across multiple trades and industries with everyone from surgeons to food preparation specialists using some version of it. Unfortunately, what hasn’t changed is the fact that they’re also a pain in the proverbial posterior to use over the long term.

As any long-term user of rubber gloves would experience, extended usage of rubber gloves often results in adverse skin conditions due to irritant dermatitis or sensitivity to the proteins that make up a rubber glove. The end result isn’t pretty with itching, blistering, scabbing or worse. While logic would imply that you avoid the irritant, it’s not an option for trades reliant on it. Would you really eat a sandwich made by a food prep guy with his bare hands? Fortunately, one organisation has resolved that complication nicely by targeting the source of the problem. Enter Kossan Rubber Industries’ Low Derma tech and their Chemax 7th Sense gloves.

Essentially, Low Derma tech technology is a  new manufacturing technique for rubber gloves that helps to mitigate hypersensitivity and allergy issues so that users can use gloves made with the technique over the long term without adverse effects. Kossan Rubber Industries’ Chemax 7th Sense gloves are the first recipients of this new technology. To ensure it works, Kossan Rubber Industries have tested it extensively with a gruelling battery of independent, international tests. While Chemax 7th Sense gloves are primarily oriented for use in the medical industry, the Low Derma tech technology used in it’s creation can just as easily be applied towards making gloves meant for non-medical purposes too.
