Huawei’s MediaPad M3 and Nova Plus arrive in Malaysia

Huawei’s Nova Plus smartphone and MediaPad M3 tablet that were glimpsed at IFA 2016 in Berlin are now finally available for sale in Malaysia.

The MediaPad M3 is Huawei’s take on a slate that comes with an 8.4-inch, 2,560 x 1600 pixel resolution display. Running under the hood is Android 6.0 on a HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor paired with 4GB RAM and your choice of either 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage with commensurately different price tags. Of note is that the onboard speakers are tuned by Harman Kardon for some extra aural punch. The slate also ships with a free copy of Microsoft Office and enjoys a one-to-one device exchange within a 12-month warranty period assuming you encounter a hardware defect.

The rear comes with a 16-MP camera that packs optical image stabilisation and the ability to capture 4K video while the front has an 8-MP selfie camera. Naturally, it also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM card slots and a 3,340mAh battery that aims to offer all day battery life.
