Huawei went in guns blazing at Mobile World Congress and they have certainly impressed quite a few pundits with a slew of innovative devices including the surprise launch of their foldable Huawei Mate X that goes head on with the Galaxy Fold phone as well as the latest incarnations of their MateBook series in the form of the MateBook X Pro.
To wit, the brand has won a total of 47 “Best of MWC awards” from a host of organisations for the innovations they have presented at MWC, chief among them the next-generation Huawei Mate X that combines 5G connectivity and a foldable display while the Matebook X Pro served up the latest hardware that includes a 13.9-inch 3K Ultra FullView display.
The Mate X foldable phone garnered 31 awards on its own, which is quite an achievement with the likes of GSMA awarding it “Best New Connected Mobile Device at Mobile World Congress 2019” , TechRadar conferring it “Best of MWC 2019”, Tom’s Guide granting it “Best in Show” and Android Central giving it “Best of MWC 2019”.
The MateBook X Pro garnered a “Best of MWC 2019” from TechRadar, a “Best of MWC 2019” award from Windows Central and Trusted Reviews recognised it with a “Best of MWC”.
No official word on when both of these devices will hit Malaysia but we’ll keep you posted.
