After weeks of leaked renders and a grand launch in Paris, Huawei has finally made their titular flagships for 2018, the P20 and P20 Pro available in Malaysia and announced their official prices. The P20 costs RM2,599 while the P20 Pro will retail for RM3,299.

The prices are immensely competitive indeed as far as flagship phones go as they compare favourably with offerings from the likes of the boys down in Cupertino or Suwon in price and the hardware that they have on offer.

The Huawei P20 comes with a 5.8-inch fullview widescreen LCD display with 1080 x 2244 pixel resolution, a Kirin 970 processor running Android Oreo 8.0 paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage as well as a 24-MP f/2.0 selfie camera. The rear dual camera sports a 12-MP f/1.8 camera and OIS paired with a 20-MP f/1.6 mono camera. Powering the P20 is a 3,400mAh battery augmented by fast Huawei Supercharge tech for faster charging times.

The P20 Pro takes things up several notches in almost every way. The phone sports a larger, crisper 6.1-inch OLED display with 1080 x 2240 pixel resolution, a similarly equipped Kirin 970 processor as the P20 but this time coming with more RAM to the tune of 6GB and 128GB storage and a 24-Mp selfie camera.

The rear camera array is impressive with a triple camera array that covers all the bases – a whopping huge 40-MP f/1.8 colour camera with optical image stabilisation, a 20-MP mono camera with an f/1.6 aperture and an 8-MP f/2.4 camera with 3x optical zoom and 5x hybrid zoom. Befitting many flagships, the P20 Pro has IP67 dust and water resistance. It also has a larger 4,000mAh versus the P20 with similarly nippy fast Huawei Supercharge tech.
