GAMDIAS unleashes new keyboards and their first gaming chair at Computex 2017

Computex is an annual affair that sees some of Asia’s biggest players in components, hardware and other computing related kit gather together to show the digiterati and technophiles alike some of their newest hardware that will hit store shelves in the coming months.

Renowned gaming kit purveyor Gamdias went all the way with a Greek inspired showcase where they showcased their entire range of the latest keyboards and, best of all, their first range of gaming chairs fit for the gods. Here’s some of the hottest things that they had at their showcase at Computex 2017.

Achilles Gaming Chairs

Their debut into the lofty realm of gaming thrones certainly made an impression. Dubbed the Achilles series, Gamdias’ new line-up of gaming chairs consists of the mainstream M1 and the ultra premium P1 which features an ergonomically designed seat for long hours of gaming, adjustable armrests, a footrest for decadent comfort for your tootsies and – get this – integrated RGB lighting that can be connected to your PC or a power bank to offer up a literal light show when gaming.

The Achilles P1 comes in large and small sizes for differently sized gamers and five different colours with the M1 lacking a footrest and with slightly less cushier armrests though at a presumably lower price tag. There is no official price or launch date as yet for either chair but we’ll keep you posted.

Hermes Low Profile Switch Keyboards
Consisting of the P3 RGB and the Hermes M3, the new range of Gamdias keyboards are slim and compact affairs with the P3 RGB offering up customisable lighting effects to the tune of 16.8 million possible colour combinations while the M3 is, according to Gamdias, the world’s first 87-key low profile keyboard. There is no price or launch date as yet for either model as yet.

Hermes Optical Switch Keyboards
Gamdias also outed their new range of keyboards – the Hermes P2 RGB and the Hermes M2 7 Colour – both of which use upgraded light reflection tech in the form of a vertical light beam, allowing for uninterrupted illumination even if the PCB is bent and easier replacement of individual switches on the keyboard as needed as they wear out. Of note is that it’s actually spill resistant. Gamdias hasn’t announced local prices or launch dates yet for either the P2 or M2.GAMDIAS unleashes new keyboards and their first gaming chair at Computex 2017 7GAMDIAS unleashes new keyboards and their first gaming chair at Computex 2017 8
