BenQ is best known for crafting solid monitors and projector display systems though they also offer gaming peripherals too, if their latest additions to their ZOWIE range of gaming mice are any indication. The brand has just announced the release of their ZOWIE EC-B series of gaming mice that consists of the EC1-B and EC2-B eSports mouse in Malaysia.
Both gaming mice come with a 3360 optical sensor which is of exceptional quality with superb tracking capability, a feature sought after by many gaming aficionados. Both also have a quartet of frictionless pads at the base for a smoother gliding experience when in use and both have also been ergonomically hewn to offer a comfortable grip when held with all controls within immediate reach of your fingertips. Rather than having to install onerous drivers, both mice have a USB report rate switch that lets you swap to one of four preset settings on the fly which comes in handy when gaming.
Where both the EC1-B and EC2-B differ is in terms of their size. The EC1-B is sized for larger hands while the smaller EC2-B is made for those with smaller paws. Both ZOWIE EC-B series mice retail for RM419.
In collaboration with Valve, BenQ is also going to release special Counter Strike:Global Offensive versions of the EC1-B and EC2-B with distinctive packaging and a unique logo emblazoned on the mice though they haven’t yet announced availability yet in Malaysia.
Seeing as mousepads go along with gaming mice like coffee and doughnuts, they’ve also rolled out their ZOWIE G-SR SE mousepad. The whole affair is made of a combination of cloth and rubber that ensures a smooth glide for your gaming peripherals and superior stability wherever you plonk it on. This stalwart offering sets you back RM189. All the new ZOWIE kit is available at authorised dealers nationwide and on the BenQ Brand Store on Lazada here: www.lazada.com.my/benq-official-store
