Asus releases the Zenfone 4 in Malaysia for RM2099

Earlier this year in Taipei, Asus unveiled their entire range of Zenfone 4 series smartphones lead by their titular Zenfone 4 with star branding in the form of Korean celebrity Gong Yoo with various countries getting the phones in waves. For Malaysia, buyers were able to acquire the Zenfone 4 Selfie, the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro and Zenfone 4 Max Pro s few weeks after the official global launch though the Zenfone 4 was not slated to make an appearance just yet though it is now officially available in Malaysia.

The Zenfone 4 aka the ZE554KL comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display and runs Android Nougat on a refreshed Snapdragon 630 octacore processor paired with a very generous 6GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB of storage augmented by a hybrid SIM card.

The rear comes with a dual camera with one 12-MP that has an F/1.8 aperture and a secondary 8-MP camera with a wide-angle lens. The front sports an 8-MP camera for selfies.
